Heartbeat / Goathland Tour - 21st - 23rd September 2007

Some of us decided that we would like to tour "Heartbeat Country" in our Anglia's, making
a change from a static display. Stella, Nigel, Adrian and Alison took up the challenge.

We arrived late on Friday evening after an eventful journey.

Stella had done us proud in her choice of lodgings ...

... with both of our rooms having a wonderful view of the local countryside ...

... and a secure place to park the cars.

First stop was at "Aidensfield" Garage.

Next on the tour was Goathland station, which has appeared both in Heartbeat
and the Harry Potter Movies as Hogwarts Station

And then a tour through the Yorkshire moors ...

... with a slight detour over some water. (The cars wouldn't fit though).

Back in Goatland we posed outside the Aidensfield Stores along with the Police Car ...

... which Nigel had to tinker with as the Owner couldn't get it to run.

Finally we visited the Eden Camp. An ex POW camp now turned into a Musuem
