Models

The
Anglia was used as a souvenir to present to
visitors at the opening ceremony of the new Ford
factory at Halewood. The Anglia was painted the
same pale green colour as the first Anglia driven
off the production line by the Mayor of
Liverpool.
These models were mounted on plinths and
inscribed with the words:
"The first Ford made on Merseyside
9th March 1963"
and included the name of the recipient.

Other
Variations
There were
also several versions that were assembled and finished in
South Africa.
These are quite rare and as yet I do not have any models
of them.
