made a range of plastic injection moulded cars in
Italy, beginning in 1960 (which is what the
Anglia is made of.) In 1965 Politoys produced
their first series of higher quality diecast
vehicles. Around 1970 Politoys changed their name
to Polistil to avoid confusion with the UK toy
company of Palitoy. This version of the Anglia was
introduced into the Politoys range in 19**
