Thermostat Standardisation

anglia New "Anglia" Saloon and Estate Cars

The wax type thermostat, Part No 116E-8575, fitted to the "Consul 315" since the introduction of the 1498cc engine, is now fitted in production to "Anglia" cars and can be identified by the figures 190 marked on the underside of the bulb.

The current type thermostat is directly interchangeable with the former type, Part No 105E-8575, and when existing stocks have been exhausted, the former type thermostat will be discontinued as a service item.
