Heater Plenum Chamber Drain Tubes

The metal plenum drain tubes and rubber elbow connections have been replaced by plastic drain tubes. The metal tubes will no longer be available in service once present stocks are exhausted

If, for any reason, it is necessary to replace the metal tubes with the plastic ones, the holes for securing the clips to the windshield opening panel must be resited. The position of these holes is not critical but it is advisable to temporarilyfit the pipe in position, refer to the accompanying illustration, and mark where the holes should be, using the clips as templates. The holes can be drilled (0.125 in dia) and the tubes can then be fitted and secured in position with a self tapping screw through each clip.
