Door Trim Panel

"New Anglia" Range

On all passenger cars the door trim panel is protected from interior damage and water seepage, by a plastic sheet fixed to the door inner frame with adhesive and tape.

Should this plastic sheet be removed at any time to carry out work on the door mechanisms, ie the door lock, window winder or hinges etc., on completion of the repair, it must be replaced and securely attached with suitable adhesive.

Should this sheet become damaged during removal, it must be repaired ore replaced with a new piece.

To avoid damage to the door trim panel it is vital to ensure that the plastic sheet is correctly positioned and properly sealed around the edges, paying special attention to the bottom edge.
